What can I say? It's a small basilica, in a village style. Don't go there as a tourist, because that's not what it's for. It's the house of God, and you go there to pray when you need to ask for help, when you're feeling down, lost, when you need God to guide you, to enlighten you. You go there to ask for forgiveness. Also, when you need or want to give thanks, praise, and acknowledge how great the Lord is in your life. Don't miss visiting it, but not for tourist reasons, but for much more impor

The church's facade features Neo-Gothic elements, but inside, a central dome in the Byzantine-Romanesque style creates a monumental visual impact. We attended a celebration where the mantle of Our Lady of Lourdes is brought to this Basilica of Our Lady of Luján on the first Saturday of each month, and Mass is celebrated at 9:00 AM. First, the NEGATIVE...the system for scheduling confession appointments is terrible...you arrive half an hour or an hour early and there are few people...but when they're about to give out the 30 appointments they offer...people who have connections and arrive late show up...taking the place from those who were truly waiting...Taking the place from someone who really waited and could have been admitted...is a form of theft and a lie...those who do this should confess...
