It's a nice place to go for an afternoon/evening walk. You can also easily go for a run or a bike ride thanks to the clearly marked paths. You also get good views of the CBD and South Perth.
There aren't a lot of places open past 6pm, but it's a quick walk to some restaurants.

Very scenic area. The foreshore area is wonderful for wandering around and enjoying views of South Perth. Plenty of cyclists, walkers and joggers. The Jetty is also busy at certain times with the boats to and from Rottnest Island. Clean and tidy.
