We came here after covid and how well have they transformed it, such an amazing job in 5 years. Great staff and well educated in languages and there knowledge of butterfly species. Would definitely recommend a visit. This place is just going up and up

Such a nice place to visit in Siem Reap and it also helps local people earn a living. You get a guided tour of the gardens where you can see all the different stages from caterpillar to butterfly, it’s amazing! There are so many different types of butterflies, all beautiful and fascinating to observe. So if you want a break from the city and the temples this is the place to go!

The Banteay Srey Butterfly Centre (BBC) is a delightful and peaceful retreat, filled with colorful butterflies and lush tropical gardens. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers to enjoy close encounters with these beautiful insects.

A great initiative and very well run. A guide walked me through the enclosure and explained every step they undertook to continue to breed and preserve the many varieties of butterflies in Siem Reap. Whilst small it was packed full of surprises. I visited mid afternoon so the butterflies were a little difficult to photograph. Still an excellent experience.
