This is one of the most unique parks in Sydney. I love how they have kept the old industrial history (using the old rubble for walls), but the best part is the view.
Looking across the water, you get this really cool vibe with the colourful warehouses and industrial buildings on the other side. It’s not your typical "beach view," but it’s really artistic and interesting to look at.
A great spot for a walk and some unique photos.

A really great park for a visit, with a water side walk round to Mort Park. There is so much history to ballast point itself, and it has been wonderfully converted to a series of spaces to walk or hang out in. There is artworks as well. Parking was easy, there are toilets and picnic areas. The walk around to Mort Park has lots of fascinating places to explore. I highly recommend this as a destination for a casual easy outing.
