A small, quiet pyramid on the road to Angkor Thom. Usually you will be alone, which is as it should be. As you can probably tell, it is not one of the popular sites, it has a small uniqueness all its own. If going up it is steep and the steps seem to be made for long-legged spiders, but it's worth the effort. But just so you know, it's not on anybody must see list, except the hardcore temple addicts. But if you want to see them all, I would recommend this one.

Interesting to see if you have a lot of time (3 days Angkor ticket etc). But during 1 day visit I would advise to choose another locations.

One of the smaller ruins that can be observed while trekking up the nearby Phnom Bakheng temple, it doesn't seem to receive many visitors of its own. The ruins consist of an unassuming prang tower, largely intact and not easily climbed. There didn't appear to be any guides checking tickets or to chat up about the site here, so you are left with just the signage as you approach. Quite photogenic in the right light, so it shouldn't be skipped. As there are few visitors it's a great place to rest

This is a small temple just outside the Southern Gate of Angkor Thom. Although it’s a small temple but it was still my favorite because there was absolutely not a single tourist at the time of my visit. You will have the whole temple to yourself and can take many pics with no people in the background! Also you can climb to top and you are at the tree top level. I highly recommend stopping here for 15 minutes on your way to Angkor Thom and walking around the temple and climbing to the top!
