This is the oldest tree in Bulgaria and if you close by I assume you like it. There's about 500 stairs from the parking to the tree but it's not hard. There's a way to park the car a bit further from the main parking and then only 250 stairs. It's a nice place to stop by on the way to the mountain top.

This tree is simply majestic! It has such powerful branches, you immediately understand that it is 1000 years old. The view around is simply wonderful. If you are driving, then right under the tree there is a small parking lot or a little lower near the cafe.

Interesting spot to visit. Nice views from up there. Visited on december 7, 2025. Stairs can be a bit slippery due to snow and ice but it is doable.
