The house museum belongs to the Estonian Agricultural University. The building houses the Karl Ernst von Baer Science Centre. The building is a one and a half story wooden house in the classical style. The first dwelling was built in 1836. The current building was built in 1864. From 1869 to 1896, the natural scientist K. E. Baer lived here. In 1976, the building was restored and a museum of the scientist was organized

Maybe not quite a museum in the traditional sense, but more of a small exhibition about Baer. The house is nice and our visit was made pleasant by the man who was at work and introduced us to the exhibition.

A slightly old-fashioned exposition
