Azad Maidan is a martyrs' monument and ground in the center of the capital city Panaji. It is located opposite the Goa Police headquarters.its nicely maintained. Thr is also a public pay washroom/toilet

Azad maidan is located in the heart of Panjim city. It is a martyrs monument which reminds us of freedom fighters. It is a tall structure with a crest displaying a forum armed structure. It is one of the tourist attractions in Goa. It has a small ground with lawn. A concrete stage is built on one end where many government activities and cultural functions are conducted.
