Atkinson Museum is a great family spot, with frequent kid‑friendly exhibitions and a first floor laid out in a loop.
The LEGO exhibition stands out for its detailed, creative builds that appeal to both kids and adults, with most displays at children’s height behind glass.
There’s a play area at the end with small bricks and one box of larger pieces. Arrive before 12 pm, as the play tables fill up quickly.

Very good exhibition for kids and grown ups. Constructions displayed are very accurate and detailed. At the end, there is a place where you can make your own Lego’s constructions. Nice activity for a family’ afternoon.

Learning about Salvador Dali‘s life through the Dali exhibition was inspiring. One of the best moments was watching the Disney film that Salvador Dali originally made in the mid 1950s. The exhibit chronologically examines his life, displaying lots of his drawings and covers he made for magazines like Vogue. There are no large wall to wall paintings here like the ones seen in St. Petersburg, Florida, Dali Museum but the exhibit definitely gave me a greater understanding of his life and how he bec
