A very large mosque that can accommodate a big peoples, especially for Friday prayers. It’s also clean and well maintained. Considering that there aren’t many mosques in Kuala Lumpur, this one is particularly important.

The mosque is located right next to KLCC Park and offers a beautiful view with the Petronas Twin Towers as its background.

My son and I went for Fajr prayer at Masjid Asy-Syakirin, and it was a beautiful and grounding experience. We even scooted here from our Airbnb, which added to the calm and reflective start to the morning.

I visited KLCC Mosque (As-Syakirin Mosque) recently, and it’s such a peaceful spot right in the middle of Kuala Lumpur! The mosque is beautiful, with its clean white architecture and spacious prayer halls. Even if you’re not there to pray, it’s a calming place to take a quiet moment.
