Beautiful cathedral. Worth a visit for sure.
Mass timings & opening hours aren’t clear on their website though so here are the current timings as of January 2026 (refer to the photo attached). The weekday 5:15pm Mass doesn’t exist anymore!

We arrived at the Cathedral at 5am because we just wanted to pray and left before the Sunday mass started at 6am (or so we thought). When we arrived, it was still dark but immediately the security turned on the Christmas lights and it was lovely.
We waited for the Church’s door to open so we could enter and pray and only found out at around 5:45 that the mass is scheduled to start at 7am so the door would be open after 6am.

. I really drove six kilometers just to visit the place and it was worth every meter. The moment I stepped inside the plaza, it felt like I was sent back in time. There is a touch of Venice in the surroundings and a hint of modern Rome in the way the whole area is designed.
