Unexpected on how nice it was! So many places to explore

A beautiful park that invites you to relax. Those who enjoy hiking and exploring nature can also take the trail up to Cristo Redentor (about a two-hour walk). Inside the park, you'll also find the Plage Café, which is always very busy but definitely worth a visit.

Entry point to the walkway to the Corcovado. I thoroughly enjoyed but it’s not for everyone. 80% easy 20% (last bit) tough - you have to climb a rock on an iron ladder (pic below) It was safe nobody around to mug you A few tourists on the track. It was an amazing adventure took me 1.45 h to get on top it’s about 3km

This is the entry point to the hike to Corcovado mountain (Christ the redeemer). Hike starts at the back right at a guardhouse where you have to sign in (about 5 min walk from the main building). Took us 2hrs to the top - absolutely worth it. Follow the marked hiking boots - last bit is on road with vans whizzing by. Bought tickets for the tram when we wanted to get down. Many busses pass the gardens so easy to get here.
