Located in the heart of Panfilov Park, it’s surrounded by lush trees, walking paths, and peaceful green spaces that make the whole area feel calm and inviting. The cathedral itself is absolutely stunning — a masterpiece of architecture with its colorful design, intricate details, and tall spires that stand out beautifully against the backdrop of the park.

I absolutely loved the Ascension Cathedral in Almaty such a beautiful building the colorful wooden architecture , especially the greenery of Panfilov Park. Stepping inside felt calm and peaceful, It’s amazing to think the whole structure is made of wood and has survived for over a century.
