Small, yet beautiful Armenian church on the Asian side of Istanbul in Katecoy, free to enter, but NOT a "tourist" site per se. I went in to pray for a sick friend who is of Armenian descent.

Beautiful Armenian church in a largely muslim city.

My first and only visit left me impressed. The guy present made all the effort to introduce me to the temple's background, beyond lovely. Beautiful interior. Could not help but appreciate the history and efforts of their outstanding community. Did not feel like an outsider for a single moment!

Beautiful Armenian Church. There was a ritual on Sunday between 9am and 1pm. You can attend or watch the ritual. It's totally in Armenian language but interesting to see.

A very nice church. I asked the guard if he would let me inside to take some photos, and he allowed me. I couldn’t get inside the main hall of the church, but I managed to take some photos from through the windows. The church was empty when I was there as it was Monday.
