Excellent little museum collection showing the importance of Irapetra from Minoan times. Some beautiful artefacts and statuary. Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended

A smaller museum, yet well curated for its size. Rich with beautiful artifacts from the local area, mostly focusing on Minoan and Roman periods. Housed in a historic building (not as old as its collection though).
Good to know that there seemed to be no air-conditioning, nor gift shop.

Small but important collection of antiquities from the region. You will need half an hour to walk through it and read through the informative texts. It is closed on Tuesdays.
