Very walkable terminal right off the ship, with colorful streets full of shops, bars, and cafés. Dozens of duty-free and souvenir stores make it easy to browse without going far. Took the local bus #22 from the West Bus Terminal which is well within walking distance and went to Ffreyes beach which is a beautiful more private beach with turquoise waters and no entry fee. Apparently Justin Beeber was there on his yacht approx 3 years ago.

For cricket fans/enthusiasts, you can go to the East bus terminal which is approximately a 1km walk from the cruise terminal. Take the #32 or #33 or #34 which should drop you i front of the Sir Vivian Richard Stadium. For a $2 USD fee w

This was a good port, we stopped here with RCI and were able to annoy the ships available in the port area. There weren’t a lot of the typical shops that have extremely touristy things but there is a market behind a couple of the other buildings, super easy to find and very close to the port still. There is wifi in the casino and they are also willing to swap out USD for ECD at the cashiers desk in there. We were on a Disney Cruise ship that docked at this port. We explored the port city, St. John's and it was pleasant experience. We were fortunate enough to be able to visit a local artisan shop and gallery that sold high quality products that were created by local island artists. The owner was so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. It was easy enough for us to enter/exit the port city at the port terminal. The local people were extremely nice and helpful.
