Beautifull city and well worth a city trip. We stayed here for a short visit of a few days and that is enough to see most highlights and hotspots. The old City centre is magical. With narrow ancient streets, many shops, lots of restaurants and a ton of historical sights to visit. Be carefully, prices can vary greatly from cheap to very expensive, so take your time exploring and comparing and then buy what you want. We would highly recommend this city. We really enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful city. Very friendly and lots of great bars, restaurants and the harbour is lovely to walk around. Top tip: head further out of town for more great eateries and cheaper prices!

It is the major attraction in Split after Dioklecijanove Palace. It is worth spending 2/3 hours here exploring the beautiful ancient town. The lanes are narrow and very busy during summer season with cafes, restaurants, bars and shops everywhere. Don't forget to wear a good pair of shoes as it requires a lot of walking on stone streets. Worth vising during afternoon and evening.

There are 3 points of interest in this spot, the cathedral, the bell tower which you can walk up and a small museum behind the ticket desk. The combined ticket is €12 for all 3 and is a bargain.
The museum is over 3 levels with a lot of religious artifacts and historical items from the history of the city.
The cathedral is an eclectic place showing the history of the many ages of the city, different religious phases and styles.
The tower offers the best view of Split from the top, but is a fa

Great view. You can see the whole Split in 360 degree view. The sunset from the tower is one of the best i have ever seen in my life. The climbing up the tower is very easy and cheap and in the tunnel is enough space to not get claustrophobia. It is not very crowdy and you can take perfect pictures.
