A lovely, lovely beautiful place to breath fresh air after you cross the concrete and stone palace and church. The fountain makes it so much better. After crossing the fountain there is a small garden on the left. Garden has so many different kinds of shrubs and flowers. There is also a nice water cooler or a bubbler. Enjoy the time here. Take it all in, relax. You can also walk to the steps next to the water way and observe the Operaen from across .

Amaliehaven - The Garden of Amalie

In spring, Amaliehaven turns into a living painting. Every week, different trees and flowers come to life - first the magnolias, then the cherry blossoms, then the lilacs. That's why it's worth visiting this garden often, once a week, to see how it slowly changes, as if nature is breathing.

The garden is named after Queen Amalie, the wife of King Frederik VI. She loved peace and beauty, and this little park by the royal palace still keeps that gentle spirit.
