A beautiful Spanish-style house with a wonderful balcony! It's the birthplace of the very famous Spanish tenor Alfred Kraus. It's somewhat hidden behind the cathedral.

There are just beautiful buildings and a striking number of balconies on every house in the entire city center. Beautifully crafted wooden and metal balconies, look at them!

The design of the balcony is reminiscent of the bow of a large sailing ship from the time of Columbus.

Unfortunately, it was under renovation during my visit. The crypt and first floor were closed. Otherwise, a very interesting visit for 4 euros, considering what was still open to the public.

This house appears to be closed, but in reality, if I understood the receptionist at the Casa de Colón correctly, it's the same building for both, only it's dedicated to the navigator. Regarding the "hardly anything remains," there's no mention of A. Kraus's house anywhere. If you're curious, ask at the entrance to the Casa de Colón, which is open during the indicated hours and is well worth a visit. "By the way, preferably on Sunday, a free day."
