The stones are located rather far from the entrance. We did it walking for about ½ hour to ¾ hour. Best to take the paying shuttle if short on time.

A stone on the beach that you have to pay to see… as a foreigner, I don't understand its significance (does it even have one?).
The stone is located in a pretty, manicured park with many cafes and souvenir shops. It seems to be geared towards people who like to take lots of selfies. There are many different spots for taking selfies.
Entry costs 50 ¥ for two people, including a shuttle bus.

It's a nice park with lots of artificial Instagram/selfie spots. The beach has a few large rocks with crowds of tourists milling around it, but otherwise there's nothing special or worth seeing that would warrant a special trip. We were there during the off-season, and there were still quite a few people there. It's a place to take a walk and have something to eat or drink. I don't want to speak ill of the place, but paying an entrance fee to see a beach (which isn't much different from the surr
